History In the Making [KIBA]

[Crimson]

Crimson padded around a lake. An early spring breeze rustling her snowy white fur as she approached the water closer. Letting it kiss her toes before moving in farther. Standing in the lake halfway up to her lake she lapped at the water. When she was down gracing herself with the cool freshness of the crystal liquid she stared at her reflection. A scarred face with golden eyes. It was all she could see. Was those scars on her muzzle. Upset she bit the water rippling her effect before running out of it.

Shaking her fur on the shoreline she moved to a large rock. Jumping onto it she put herself into a laying position. Ears perked up making sure no one sneaked up on her. Looking out over the shore she watched the sun reflect off of it. Pure beauty in the nature around her. It was better in the wild then it was in the wolf habitat. She could make the calls now, even if it meant a few fights here and there. Freedom and ruling was better then anything.

Zeus

The brute walked along the lake edge, letting his huge paws wade in the water. His golden eyes were staring around, watching the nature around him. Birds flew over him. Squirrels chased each other from tree to tree. He could occasionally hear the quacks of the ducks as they swam towards the middle of the lake. Everything was so peaceful today, oddly enough.

His tail wagged at the thought of the peace, but he wondered how much longer it would last. Of course, his answer was given to him as he noticed a white wolf in the distance. He was standing upwind, so he could tell if it was a brute or a she-wolf. He tried to guess by the size, but they were average.

He didn't get too close, but he did get close enough to communicate if they had to. "Is this your territory?" he called over, staring at them with unblinking eyes.

[Crimson]

Just like she had suspected someone had to ruin her peace. Rising to her feet she made a quick eye contact with the male. "No sir. I would like to have my own place but I hold no mate to lead with me or followers." She sighed a bit sadden by the details in her sentence. It was all the truth though. The she-wolf had had loves and crushes but nothing serious. Well once she did, but that was a story she would keep tucked away.

"I'm assuming this is not your land but do you have land of your own?" If the male did she would be left to wonder why he was away from it. Perhaps he was a scout? No, no, no. He seemed to much of a brute to be a sleek scout. Though maybe she was wrong and was just doubting his abilities. Taking a seat lightly she stared at him. Examining his markings and any moves he made.

Zeus

He shook his fur as she spoke, listening carefully. He heard the quiet sigh she gave and looked at her, gold eyes meeting gold eyes. He examined her, wondering if she had once loved someone. It was none of his business, though, so he didn't ask. He was just relieved that this wasn't her land. So he could stay here too.

She changed the subject to him, though. He flicked his ears at her question and shook his head. "I'm part dog. No wolf would allow me to have my own lands and no human will allow me to have them in the city. I am merely a loner, looking for a pack to accept me for me," he barked, moving out of the cool water and sitting down at the shore.

He stared down at it, looking at his reflection. His pelt showed that he was a dog. His eyes and size showed he was a wolf. He bared his teeth in annoyance, but quickly uncurled his lip to not look aggressive.

[Crimson]

"Hey buddy, hold up. You're part wolf though and I was looking to make a pack. Even though your markings show your a dog your body doesn't. Perhaps, just perhaps, you would be willing to take a chance and join my making of a pack?" It was a shot in the dark but there was always that sliver of light that came through. Today it was that he was part wolf that Crimson wouldn't fully pity him for being a dog.

Smiling wide she moved herself to go sit next to him. Also looking at her reflection and those three horrid scars going across her muzzle. Not to mention the scar over her left hind haunch. She couldn't really see it though so it wasn't of concern. "My name is Crimson. What's your's?" She lifted her head to look into his own golden eyes.

Zeus

He looked up at her, leaving his reflection and perked his ears up. At her request, his tail began to wag. Was he...was he really being asked to be in a pack? A real pack? And he thought today was going to be a bad day. Well, he had been proven wrong! He may have a chance to have friends now.

He watched as she moved next to him. That's when he noticed her scars. He looked at them for a second before moving his eyes to look at hers. He smiled in response. She was shorter than him, but only by a few inches. Still, she looked as if she was a bit bulkier than him. That would make sense, though. She was a purebred wolf after all.

"My name is Zeus. Its nice to meet you, Crimson," he said, giving her a smile in response.

[Crimson]

She chuckled in his tail wagging response. "Same to you Zeus." Pawing at the water she watched as their faces became distorted through ripples. Before she knew it she was out on her paws bounding around in circles in the water. Wagging her tail. Diving under in the deep parts before paddling back to the shallow parts.

Flicking her tail she paused to look at Zeus. "Join me?" Splashing the water towards him she smiled wide. Excited to have made a friend. She wouldn't have to be alone anymore. Continuing bouncing in the water she watched as the shallow dwelling fish swam away as fast as they could. For once she could say she was enjoying herself.

Zeus

He turned his head as she suddenly shot into the water, running around. He got to his paws as she splashed him. He didn't hesitate to jump in. Soon, he was running through the water too, leaping and bounding as quickly as the water would let him. His tail wagged in happiness and tongue lolled out of his mouth, hanging out one side. It made him look goofy and actually very nice.

He leaped next to her, causing a splash to land on her, as well as causing the fish to swim away with fear. "You're the first canine to ever accept me. Thank you! Thank you," he said, butting his head playfully against her shoulder. He then turned and bounded away, swimming a little ways as his paws couldn't touch the ground anymore. He swam in circles in the water, barking a bit playfully.

"We'll be a strong pack! You and me! We'll even get others, I bet," he suggested, looking at her with bright eyes as he continued to swim.

[Crimson]

"Don't mention it!" She decided to swim with him. Out into the deep she went padding awkwardly. Crimson wasn't much of a water wolf but oh boy when she was in the water she loved it. Biting at the water some times she then wadded out once her coat was getting to heavy.

Standing on the shore she watched Zeus swim around for a few minutes. Shaking out her fur she took a seat. Crimson wouldn't lie, Zeus was an attractive brute. Someone she would certainly take interest into. Though she couldn't say he would like her the same way. Wagging her tail lost in her thoughts of romance she didn't even notice the occasional splashing of water on her snowy white pelt.

Zeus

He stayed in the water for a few minutes, tail wagging back and forth. His pelt was heavy, but he didn't mind. He was still full of energy. And the thought of finally being accepted was giving him even more energy. He could be protected now and he could protect someone like he used to. It was exciting.

Of course, he waded out of the water eventually, his black and tan fur looking dark. He shook it out, causing it to stand in every direction, although he didn't look as if he cared about his appearance. He looked at her again and smiled. "We should find a home," he suggested, tongue lolling out of his mouth once again.

[Crimson]

Crimson:
"We should. Though I was hoping I could talk to you a bit?" She wagged her tail lightly at Zeus. "You know about Alpha position." Shrugging lightly she licked at the water for a moment. Allowing him to think about what she was going to say next.

Deciding she had given him long enough Crimson went on to speak. "You see I need an Alpha male to lead with me. Now we don't have to be the two to carry out pups." "Unless you want." She thought silently. "We could be straight business partners. I just thought it would be smart to have two Alphas right from the get go." Pondering if he would agree to rule with her she had a nervous look to her face.

[Kiba]

Zeus

He perked up as she began to talk. His fur got hot as she spoke of having two Alphas right from the start. Was he even fit to be an Alpha? Who would follow a wolf dog anyways? His mind wondered to a familiar face of the she-wolf he had met in a cave not too long ago. He blinked and his tail began wagging at the thought of her.

"If you need me to be the other Alpha, than I will," he said before continuing, "I actually know of someone who would join us. I don't know where she is right now, but her name is Juliet. I know we'll run into her eventually."

He blinked as something wet fell on his nose. He looked up to see that clouds were covering the sky. Soon, rain crashed down on them. That had came out of no where, but it looked as if it was coming from the mountains.
