There was a blood trail; it was a fickle one though. The drops were few and far between but they were there, with the stench of recently opened flesh. The dog was limping, but otherwise fine. In all honesty the torn mouthful of wrinkle flesh seemed of little importance and even less of a burden to the large ugly dog. It seemed fitting, really, an ugly dog with an ugly wound that would heal into an ugly half covered scar. However, some would see it differently, they would see an ugly dog with scars that proved she was a fighter- that she was a survivor. These were the canines she wanted to attract, she wanted survivors, not weaklings she wanted criticism- not pity.
The Dogue De Bordeux did need a place to rest, though, but why not scout for a home at the same time? This was her goal and so as she came across the train station, decrepit and falling apart, but it had valuable traits. There were railroad cars that seemed sufficient for a group of gladiators- fitting really. Rook ignored the rotting building and went for the cars. They were the most important thing about the train station anyway. Approaching the cars, she realized how tall they were and just how heavy she was, but still, she made an attempt, a failed one. She got her front legs up, but the back half of her body was heavy and her injured shoulder made it nearly impossible. Falling back to the ground the mastiff huffed and shook herself off. Not here She thought, turning to leave.
for Kat with Raziel, short threads pretty please.
