Descriptions:
Alpha Pair: These are the top dogs around the pack. Everyone is expected to treat them with respect and follow them without question. Insubordination will be punished.
Beta Pair: These guys are the second-in-commands. They hold a lot of respect, and questioning them without good reason will result in punishment.
General: This canine is in charge of the 'soldiers'. They set up patrols, and in times of conflict they are strategists and help to lead in battle.
Lead Hunter: This canine is in charge of the hunters. They put together hunting patrols and makes sure that the pack gets fed.
Soldiers: In times of peace, these canines mark the borders and guard them with their lives. They also help out with whatever they are needed for. In times of war, they are expected to fight to the death for the pack.
Hunters: These canines keep the pack well-fed and are extremely important. They are expected to hunt whenever needed, and help with the up-keep of the pack in any way they can.
Scouts: These canines are extremely stealthy and brave. They sneak into the lands of other packs or into dangerous territory so that Vulpus Vasum does not remain ignorant of what is happening in the world around them.
Den Mother: This is likely to be an older she-canine who has had several litters of her own. She assists the mothers and helps with babysitting duties.
Healer: This canine knows a lot about herbs and healing, and is in charge of keeping the pack healthy. The have the regular duties of a member when they are not performing their healing duties.
Members: These are canines who hold no power over the pack what-so-ever. They help out where they are needed, but they do not commit themselves to any one cause in the pack. One day they could be marking borders and the next day they could be hunting.
Trainees: These are canines between the ages of six and nine months old. They are in training to become either a soldier or a hunter.
Mothers: These are females who are either heavily pregnant or nursing. They are relieved from regular duties until their pups are weaned.
Pups: These are canines that are below six months old. They aren't expected to do anything besides stay out of the way. At six months they can either become members, or go into training to become hunters or soldiers.
Rules:
01.) The word of the alphas is law and to go against it is considered insubordination. You may present your arguments, but if you do not do as you are told, you will be driven out.
02.) To attack a fellow pack-member is vile and unheard of. If you do not have a good reason for doing so, you will be punished or driven out.
03.) You have the ability to choose for yourself what you would like to do for the pack, be it in hunting, guarding, or a mix of everything. You are expected to defend the pack with your life no matter your rank, however.
04.) Puppies and kits are welcome and adored in the pack, however, we do not want more than we can handle. Please briefly speak with an alpha or beta before you decide to breed.
06.) If you encounter a stranger on our lands, you must do as you deem fit. Never attack them if they are not hostile, and do not risk your life if they are a lot larger than you.
Joining:
01.) The first step in joining this pack is to make sure that you are 20 inches or below at the shoulders. If you meet this requirement, great.
02.) Next you will want to start a thread in one of the pack lands and tag either Deni or Kindle in it. Rose or Tybalt can accept your character into the ranks.
03.) You may choose to be a hunter, soldier, or member initially. Once you have proven yourself, you can request a higher rank.
04.) Please see this thread if there is something you would like to plot OOC regarding the pack.
