The battle between good and evil will never end. Celestials are still fighting demons and trying to protect the human race from imminent danger, but while they interact with humans some reproduce, creating a breed now known as the Icarus.
Celestial parents to these beings must fashion their children’s wings for them from feathers and wax; if they fly too high, they, like Icarus, will fall to their deaths. A prophecy was once told in the days of old that now rings true; once the three distinct human empires arise, an Icarus will be born, will ally himself with the demons, and will attempt to overthrow those who wronged him as a child.
So far, this Icarus is not known to the world. Few are ever born, due to the fear of fulfilling the prophecy. The humans have remained ignorant, but Celestials and Demons are all informed.
Meanwhile, in the human kingdoms, population is growing and resources are running low. It seems that every time something goes wrong, one of the other empires are blamed. They have stopped trying to set aside their differences and have began to formulate attacks against each other in hopes to destroy the threats and earn the land for themselves. Nothing has been started but many things have been planned. The Celestials are scrambling to prevent war, and the Demons are busily egging it on while making their meals of unsuspecting citizens.
Can the dooming of the Celestial race be prevented? Will the war remain a threat, or will it become a promise? What stake does everyone play? Only you have the power to find out.
