He wanted to see the Junkyard, but he did not seem pleased. He turned on his heel and shoved his muzzle into her space. Her lips pulled back in a warning, although they were far to droopy to do much when it came to showing her teeth, it did wrinkle her face up into a rather intimidating show of wrinkles and coldness. Rook did not like others in her face and she made that clear with her warning as well as a raising of her tail, showing that she was more dominant and that he needed to watch it.
His threats were empty, if a human put a bullet in him to kill, he wouldn’t make it to her side before he died. Yet, Rook took them to heart and nodded, “I don’t abandon those in my pack- I fight for them.” She growled before passing him. “Junkyard is this way.” They skirted the city, by the time they arrived at the Junkyard it was already dark, both of them were safe from prying eyes; humans had horrible eye sight- especially at night. There was a fence, a simple six-foot high fence, something she assumed a wolf could scale easily. Rook on the other hand, was not so fortunate and had to squeeze through a hole in the wooden fence. Whether he jumped or followed, she waited until he was through and next to her.
“Go ahead, look around, smell around.” She was blunt, but it got her a long way with most canines. With that blunt statement she moved forward, not sure if he was going to follow her or go his own path around the Junkyard, either way, she wanted to lay down and she knew just the place to do so comfortably- the car section. The mastiff decided that a vehicle that had no doors was her best option and climbed in the back seat, turning to face the way she entered. If he were there, she would address him again. “I’ll be here when you are done. There is a human that sometimes stays at the front; there is a light that comes on when you get close to the building. I’d avoid it. Otherwise, there isn’t anything to bother you. If you manage to get into trouble, just howl or make some noise. I’ll come to you. “Rook wasn’t kidding about finding him, her tone was firm and her gaze was steady. She wasn’t the type to leave anyone behind.
